Ground Face

Ground face is a block manufactured and burnished to achieve a smooth finish that reveals the natural aggregate colors. The finished look is similar to that of polished natural stone and can be altered by adjusting the type and proportions of aggregates and colors used in the mix.

Because any smooth block can be burnished on 1, 2, or 3 sides, Ground Face units are available in virtually any size.  They are also available with vertical scores. Any corner can be bull nosed with a 1 in. radius or chamfered with a 1 in. x 1 in. chamfer on any corner.

For large-scale projects, Boral offers Colossal Stone, a Ground Face veneer.
